What is production status of Last Samurai Standing?

As of now, Netflix has just announced that it is going to start the production of this series, and it could take several months before it gets ready to release on Netflix. However, most of the production will be shot in Japan itself to relate to the story of this series. In one of the statements, he said,

“The adaptation process was not without its own set of challenges, particularly in transitioning the novel into a multi-episode drama series, which was likened to producing three films. Fujii and Okada worked meticulously on the script, ensuring it stayed true to the essence of the original work while also adding cinematic elements.
