The Sandman Season 2 Production started again on Netflix: What we know so far

Big News for Fans of The Sandman.The Sandman is coming back for Season 2! The show is getting ready for new episodes on Netflix. This news comes from Neil Gaiman, the creator of The Sandman. He wrote a letter to fans saying, “We officially restart production on the next sequence of stories of The Sandman for Netflix.”

The Sandman is based on a famous graphic novel by Neil Gaiman. The first issue of the novel came out 35 years ago. The TV show started on Netflix in 2022. It has 11 episodes. The show is about Morpheus, the lord of dreams, played by Tom Sturridge. In the last season, Morpheus faced an attack from Lucifer’s forces. Lucifer is played by Gwendoline Christie.

Neil Gaiman talked about how The Sandman started. He remembers a stormy day in 1987 when he began writing the story. He wrote the first eight issues during a big storm. The first issue was published in November 1988. The story was different from other comics, which mostly had superheroes.

Gaiman said, “We never know where our dreams will take us.” He is excited about the new episodes. The show will take viewers to many places, like Hell, Ancient Greece, and revolutionary France.
