Shane Gillis’ comedy series “Tires” will have a second season on Netflix. The news comes just before the first season starts on May 23. Season 2 will come out in 2025.
Gillis paid for the first season himself. Netflix bought the show and gave him another stand-up special. Tires Season 2, This special comedy show will premiere on Netflix in 2025.
The show is about Will, played by Steven Gerben. Will is nervous and not good at his job. He tries to fix his dad’s auto repair business. But his cousin Shane, played by Gillis, makes it hard for him.
Other actors in the show are Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias. Andrew Schulz is a guest star. Gillis created the show with Gerben and John McKeever. They all help run the show, and McKeever directs it.
The first season of “Tires” has six episodes. The team behind the show includes Brandon James, Brian Stern, Kenneth Slotnick, and Becky Astphan. Gillis and McKeever also produce it for their company, Dad Sick Productions.
Gillis had a Netflix special in 2023 called “Beautiful Dogs.” It was very popular. It was in the top 10 in five countries and stayed in the U.S. top 10 for two weeks. Gillis also did three shows at the Netflix is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles. He performed at the Kia Forum, the Greek Theater, and the Staples Center (now called the Crypto.com Arena).
