Netflix has exciting news for all the fans out there! As per the most recent announcement made by Netflix on May 9, 2024, “The Believers” is coming back for a second season and expected to release on Netflix anytime in 2025.
Remember how everyone couldn’t stop talking about Season 1 when it came out on March 27, 2024? Well, it’s been a huge hit ever since, staying on the Top 10 list on Netflix Thailand the whole time! We already have published an article for The Believers Season 1 if you missed it before.
People just couldn’t get enough of it! The show got everybody talking, and even a special campaign by The Believers Ltd., a really cool company in Thailand, helped spread the word even more.
And guess what? “The Believers” didn’t just entertain people – it also made them interested in things like the Pra Peung Luang amulet and the Phummaram Temple. People started visiting the temple because of the show!
Plus, everybody fell in love with Monk Dol, played by Pup-Patchai Pakdeesusuk. He’s so charming, and everyone loves his quotes!
But it’s not just about entertainment – “The Believers” also made people think. It talked about Buddhist economics in Thailand and made us question how faith and money are connected.
And it’s all thanks to the talented actors like James-Teeradon Supapunpinyo, Peach-Pachara Chirathivat, Ally-Achiraya Nitibhon, and others, along with director Wattanapong Wongwan.
Netflix has not announced anything about new cast members in The Believers Season 2 yet. So we can expect the same the same faces in upcoming season 2. However, We will keep you updated if anything Netflix announce anything later.
