Mark Waters is the director of this film who also directed Bad Santa 2 (2016), Vampire Academy (2014) and many more. The writer of this film is Robin Bernheim.

Brook Shields will be in the lead role and play the role of mother (Lana) followed by Miranda Cosgrove as Lana’s daughter (Emma). Benjamin Bratt will also be in the lead role as the son’s father (Will) and Chad Michael Murray as the son (Lucas).

Some of the other important lead roles will be played by Rachael Harris as Janice, Sean Teale as RJ, Wilson Cruz as Scott, Michael McDonald as Clay, Tasneem Roc as Camala and Dalip Sondhi as Harley.

Brook Shields was nominated twice for Golden Globe Awards during 1997-98 for Best International Actress category. She has won 2 Jupiter Awards in 1980-81. Some of her credits as lead roles are The Blue Lagoon 1980, Pretty Baby 1977 and Pretty Baby 2023, Endless Love 1981.
